International Students Essay Writing Competition

亲爱的同学们：

众所周知，近期新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎正在各地蔓延，防控工作正处于关键时期，很多医生和护士已经奔赴前线救治病人，这其中有我们的老师，有我们的朋友，作为医学生的我们，虽然无法亲临一线救死扶伤，但我们依然有责任和义务做些力所能及的事情，在保护好自己的同时，承担起青年的使命，自觉做科学的传播者、谣言的粉碎者、健康的守护者。因此，在山一大国际教育学院教学办公室的倡导下，留学生学术联合会面向全体留学生校友和在校留学生征集相关文稿，希望广大留学生朋友们能够结合自己的所学知识和所从事的工作，积极投稿，用文字和科学知识表达我们无声的支持！

Dear students,

As the the novel coronavirus is spreading, many doctors and nurses have gone to Wuhan to cure the patients. Although we cannot go with them, we still have a lot of things to do except taking care of ourselves. In order to understand current situation of China and enrich our campus life, now ISAO is going to organize an Essay Writing Competition under the direction of Teaching Affairs Office, School of International Education.

All of you are welcome to contribute your self-edited articles on

the following topics:understanding or research of novel coronavirus and your current thinking or your cross-cultural experience.

Detailed topics for your reference:

1. The comparison ofserious infectious diseases in human history

2. Emotional intelligence of a doctor

3. How to be a good medical student in Chinese university?

4. What measures did the Chinese government take to control the spread of the novel coronavirus？

5. As medical students, what shall we do in the fight against the novel coronavirus?

6. How to overcome cross-cultural barriers while studying in China?

7. Comparison of culture and tradition between your country & China.

8. Different international exams for a medical student

Note:

The above-mentioned topics are for your reference, and you can also contribute articles of other topics.

Deadline: February 28.

Langauge: Chinese or English

Awarding:

Certificates (Paper or Electrical Copy) will be awarded to winners.

5 winner for the 1st Prize

10 winners for the 2nd Prize

15 winners for the 3rd Prize.
