First Lesson of School of International Education
为更好地开展新学期留学生教育教学管理工作，切实提高学院线上线下课程授课的质量与水平，3月2日上午，国际教育学院在教学南楼C3019智慧教室进行了“开学第一课”。学院党总支副书记杜宝萱、副院长杜伟和同学们一起聆听了“开学第一课”。
In order to better carry out the education and teaching management of international students in the new semester and effectively improve the quality and level of online and offline courses of the school, School of International Education held the “first class” in C3019, the smart classroom in the South Teaching Building, on the morning of March 2nd. Du Baoxuan, deputy secretary of party General Branch of School, Du Wei, vice dean and students attended “the first lesson of the new term”.
山东第一医科大学第二附属医院副主任医师、中国援外骨科专家郭秀程借助图片丰富的课件，将自己从事临床工作、代表中国援外医疗队到塞舌尔进行国际骨科医疗援助的经历等融入开学第一课，从中外医疗工作的对比、长期医学学习的经验、疫情期的学习和未来的展望四个方面为同学们阐述讲解了一堂精彩纷呈的第一课。讲到当前的疫情，郭老师鼓励同学们坚强的面对疫情，积极学习，认真实践，打造过硬本领。课后，留学生们积极提问，向郭老师请教了人生理想和坚持从医的初心。
Guo Xiucheng, deputy chief physician of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shandong First Medical University and Chinese orthopedic aid expert, integrated his experience of clinical work and international orthopedic aid in Seychelles on behalf of the Chinese medical aid team into the first lesson of the new semester using the courseware with rich pictures. A fascinating and unique first lesson was explained to students from four aspects: the comparison of Chinese and foreign medical work, long-term medical learning experience, learning during the pandemic and future prospects. When it came to the current outbreak, Mr. Guo encouraged students to face the epidemic strongly, study actively , practice earnestly, and build up excellent skills. After class, the students consulted zealously, asking the teacher about the ideal of life and the original intention of adhering to the medical profession.
郭秀程老师的分享在热烈的掌声中结束，在座的留学生们表示意犹未尽、受益匪浅。2020春季药学班的学生Zaki说道，郭老师的分享更加坚定了自己投身医药领域的信心，期待未来能够在实习阶段有更多跟临床老师交流切磋的机会。“一寸光阴一寸金，千金难买寸光阴”，自己一定会珍惜每一分每一秒，好好学习，同时保护好自己，科学防疫。
Mr. Guo’s sharing ended in warm applause, and international students expressed their desire and benefited a lot from his words. Zaki, a student from 2020 Spring Batch Pharmacy Section, said that Mr. Guo’s sharing strengthened her confidence in the field of medicine, and she was looking forward to having more opportunities to communicate with Mr. Guo in the future. “An inch of time is an inch of gold, an inch of gold can not buy an inch of time.” Zaki said that she would cherish every minute and every second to study hard. At the same time, she would protect herself well and take scientific epidemic prevention.
本次课程的顺利开展，在爱国主义、生命健康、防疫防控和安全卫生四个方面对学生具有重要的教育意义。在留学生教育教学管理方面，国际教育学院一直在努力做到教学有温度、课堂有生命、教育有灵性。此次“开学第一课”，有效帮助留学生树立正确的人生价值观和奋斗目标，增强了国际学生的责任和担当意识，进一步促进了我院留学生、教师、管理人员的相互交流，有力的推动了我院新学期工作的有序开展。
The smooth development of this course is of great educational significance to students in patriotism, life and health, epidemic prevention and control, and safety and health. In terms of international students' education and teaching management, the School of International Education has always been striving to make teaching warm the students' hearts, let classes lively and our education intelligent. The "First Lesson of the New Semester" effectively helps international students establish correct values and goals in life and enhances their sense of responsibility. What's more, it further promotes the communication among international students, teachers and administrators of our school, which effectively accelerates the orderly development of our school's work in the new semester.
